The High Uintas Preservation Council officially closed its doors the last day of 2010.

While we are no longer formally functioning as a conservation organization devoted to protection of the integrity of the High Uintas Wilderness and its adjacent wild country, we invite you to read our archives and learn about the wild Uintas and issues facing the range.

We also urge you to contact the Forest Service to learn about and comment on their plans, participate in their meetings, and boldly confront projects that threaten the wildness of the incredible, vast Uinta Mountains.
