FAREWELL, COLLEEN

Colleen Dinsdale has left the High Uintas Preservation Council board of directors. Hers has been a steady, devoted voice through letters, at hearings and in discussions of what wild means and what we as humans can do to minimize our impact on that precious land. Her passion is the wild ones-- bear, cougar, the little mammals, any creature that depends on wild places to survive. And her passion is an inspiration.

Being a board member of HUPC was a natural for Colleen. She had been a board member of the Utah Wilderness Association for years, has been a regular, passionate voice at wildlife board hearings for 15 years, and has always been a supporter of wild country and wild creatures. Her devotion to wilderness is deep, her voice unwavering, her heart strong.

We will miss her contributions at our board meetings, but know her dedication to the wilderness ethic will never diminish.

Thank you, dear friend, for years of service to keep Utah wild.
