THE RENDEZVOUS AWAITS YOU!In welcome September, following this humid, hot summer of long, sunny days, come join us at Mirror Lake for the Ninth Annual Rendezvous of the High Uintas Preservation Council. A reunion of old friends cannot be finer! SUPPORT THE HIGH UINTAS! Remember those old rendezvous you attended? Remember the laughter, the sharing of frustrations, the fathoming of solutions we sought for managers to undertake? The life of our organization is the vitality of our members. The essence of our existence is felt in our group howl over the canyon of the North Fork Duchesne River, just a short walk from the meeting place. It is a chilling experience year after year. JOIN THE WOLF HOWL! We gather at noon at the Forest Service amphitheater at Mirror Lake, mingle awhile with old friends and new members, and then seek a sunny spot on the benches where we can talk of and ponder ìthings Uintas.î SUPPORT YOUR HIGH UINTAS PRESERVATION COUNCIL!If you are new to this occasion, travel about 35 miles from Kamas on Hwy. 150, park near the lake, and walk the dappled forest path to the amphitheater. Circle September10. Itíll be a fine day!
