Farewell to Hank Pissot

Early in September we learned of the death of Henry (Hank) Pissot. Hank was a long time and good friend dating back to the earliest years of the Utah Wilderness Association. He was a retired career Forest Service employee having spent many years in Missoula and Ogden. While that is important, what we remember most of Hank was his brisk humor, storytelling, and compassion for the folks and places he loved.

We were humbled and honored by his family, particularly our dear friend Jim Pissot, for suggesting that folks make a donation to HUPC in Hank’s name. Thank you!
